This Privacy Policy applies to the "Instant Mail" mobile applications (published as "Temporary Email Pro" on the iOS App Store and "Instant Mail" on Google Play Store), hereinafter referred to as “the Apps”.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only collect and use information in accordance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1. Purpose of the Apps

The Apps provide temporary, anonymous email addresses that can be used to receive emails and attachments. These temporary addresses help protect your personal mailbox from spam, advertising, hacking, and phishing attempts.

Temporary email addresses are completely anonymous. Information such as your personal identity, email address, and communications is kept confidential. The Apps do not store your IP address. All emails and data stored on our service are automatically deleted after the retention period expires. You may delete your temporary email address at any time using the “Delete” function.

2. How the Apps Work

  • Instantly generate a disposable email address.

  • Receive emails and attachments.

  • Get push notifications for new emails.

  • Change your email address instantly using the “Change” button.

  • Copy your address to the clipboard.

  • Access the same inbox via a QR code link in a web browser.

  • Free accounts store emails for up to 2 hours; Pro accounts may have extended storage.

3. App Availability

  • Apple App Store (as "Temporary Email Pro"): iOS link

  • Google Play Store (as "Instant Mail"): Android link

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Free Version

  • No personal data is collected that directly identifies you.

  • Standard log files may collect:

    • IP address

    • Browser type

    • Internet Service Provider (ISP)

    • Referring/exit pages

    • Platform type

    • Date/time stamp

    • Number of clicks
      This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track aggregate usage, and improve the service. It is not linked to personally identifiable information.

4.2 Pro (Premium) Version

  • No additional personal information is collected beyond what is required for standard Google Play or Apple App Store payment processing and authorization.

  • We do not store payment details; transactions are handled by Google or Apple.

5. Cookies

When you visit our website through the app, we may use cookies. Cookies:

  • Help us remember settings and preferences.

  • Are used by Google and other vendors to serve ads based on prior visits.

  • Can be disabled or managed through your browser settings or at www.aboutads.info.

6. Third-Party Services & SDKs

The Apps may use:

  • Google Play Services

  • Apple Services

  • Google AdMob (ads, compliant with Google’s accuracy and transparency policies)

  • Firebase Analytics

  • AppLovin

  • Other third-party ad networks

These third parties may collect anonymous data (e.g., clickstream, device type, ads clicked) to deliver targeted advertising.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except:

  • To trusted third parties who help operate the Apps, conduct our business, or provide services to you — under confidentiality agreements.

  • When required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

  • Non-personally identifiable information may be shared for analytics, marketing, or advertising purposes.

The Apps may contain links to third-party websites. These sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. California Privacy Rights

California residents may request, once per year and free of charge, a list of third parties to whom we disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing in the past year. The Apps do not share Personal Information for such purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date.
